The Cleveland Indians sign Takafumi Nakamura
The Cleveland Indians have signed 21-year old right handed pitcher Takafumi Nakamura to a minor league deal. Nakamura did not pitch in professional ball in Japan as he just finished up in college. He does appear to have a nice upside as he does throw his heater 90+ miles per hour. Nakamura will likely start his career with the Indians in A-ball next spring.
